αTENEα is the Spanish name of Aθηνά (Athena) the ancient Greek Goddess of war, civilization and wisdom...

 

     At the beginning of the year 2018 and idea was born in the heart of the city of Athens, Greece.  After spending many years traveling the globe, working in different areas like gastronomy, beauty, entertainment, fashion, corporate, hospitality, health care, nutrition, and the list goes on… αTENEα was born.

     We decided to bring to life and create a company that could be able to bring together, somehow, all our experiences and discoverings of the high quality and unique products we have found along the roads and countries we have travelled.  We found the passion to bring this unique findings and experiences to our families and closest circle of friends.  We took the time to study and analyze which criterias we wanted to work with and we all came up with some common keywords:  Nature, Respect, and Quality.  This is how αTENEα’s journey started.

     Our goal is to create a strong portfolio of brands which products are not only unique, but are well balanced with the environment and respect nature.  Products that benefit us from the inside out and will make you travel to their origin so you can taste them, touch them and feel them. αTENEα will make them accessible to you and will share their benefits for your overall well being.

     αTENEα’s team consists of two individuals from completely different backgrounds, experiences, taste and origin.  Together we formed a strong bond sharing ideas, strategies and concepts in order to put them together and create αTENEα.  We quickly understood that this will be our strength and took its advantage. αTENEα’s team will move in separate but parallel channels in order to combine different products and categories to be delivered efficiently to you.        

     With our logo design, we wanted to capture things that are important to us and that represent us:  Nαture, Love, Earth, Strength, Simplicity and Respect. αTENEα is the name of the Greek goddess Aθηνά (Athena) in Spanish, we chose Spanish to honor the origin of one of our teammates.  As we are established and based in Athens, Greece and the origin of our name is Greek, we decided to start αTENEα with an alpha instead of an a. And as mentioned before alpha is the beginning, and the first letter of the Greek alphabet.  We make emphasis on TENE, its origin is African, and it’s a girls name that means Love, and αTENEα, Aθηνά, Athena is a goddess, and represents a strong woman. From the letter T a bright green leaf grows, T represents the tree that is well grounded and brings life.  The letter N carries a tortoise one of the most respected earthy animals. A tortoise carries its home and offers shelter and life, it is associated with our physical and embodied evolution on the earthly plane. It represents the Earth as naturally walks through any element and will ground you to the land and nature.  The tortoise is associated with longevity and it represents peace. Personally we are inspired by this animal wisdom, patience and the peace it carries and transmits to the earth and people around. We want the tortoise to be our vehicle and spread her significance and symbolism helping people to slow down and take a nice slow and peaceful walk on nature and earth.  We want our tortoise to be the one who will deliver our goods to you and spread her peace and inspiration to all.  Greece is home to a wide variety of tortoise species that unfortunately have declined through the years due to wildfires and habitat loss.  With her presence on our logo we expect to create awareness and help the world be more conscious about this precious animal and respect more their environment and nature.  We Box Nαture is our tagline and we are committed to respect it in every way we can. We only ship on Eco Friendly boxes, and we encourage the public to recycle as much as they can.        

     As we expand, we promise to work hard and find new products that respect nature and are not only organic.  We will be constantly updating our catalogue, as for now our team at αTENEα welcomes you to be a part of our journey.  We are very excited to travel this road together.
